How have management students performed in 2017?

Take it from me, as a CIMA student, it's important to know how other students are performing so you can asses your own approach to revision. So, do you know how CIMA Management students been doing with their exams so far this year? Are you aware of what they are finding difficult or what they are succeeding in? No?

Read on to find out...

The below graph shows the overall pass rates for the Management Objective Tests in 2017:

As you can see, E2 is the most passed exam, with 84% of all exams passed - an encouraging result!

The next most passed exam, F2, falls far behind E2, with only 50% of all papers sat producing a pass grade. Not far behind this is P2, with a mere 46% of papers sat passed.

It's unfortunate to see students fall down on P2 and F2, especially by such a large margin compared with E2. So, what can you do to make sure you don't end up failing F2 and P2, like so many other students have done this year?

Don't worry, I'll tell you - if you're finding this or any of the other operational OT subjects difficult, I you need to sign up for our Management full courses. Packed with all the material you could possibly need to learn and revise the syllabus, our full courses guarantee you exam success!

I also suggest anybody struggling with revision to make use of our Management Disqus forum! Time and time again I speak to students who were only able to get their head around a concept AFTER speaking to one of our expert tutors. It really does make all the difference.

If you're wondering how Management students have performed in the Case Study exams over the past year, here you go:

As you can see, the May pass rate saw the highest pass rate - a huge 73% of all Management Case Study exams sat during this month resulted in a pass grade. Close behind that was the November sitting - during which 71% of students passed. In February, the result was a fair bit lower, with only 62% of students passing, while August saw 68% of students pass.

These results are on the whole, pretty encouraging. Well over half the students in each sitting passed these exams. Take it from me, Case Study students only succeed if they have expert support and a range of resources to work from.

We recently had the pleasure of chatting to a former case study student who had been striving to pass his Case Study exam for years. He highlighted the importance of using our Case Study course, telling us that the extra support he received from markers and tutors was what secured him his pass. If you are looking to achieve a pass on your case study exam first time, I would absolutely recommend our full course, which you can find out more about here:

Don't feel you need to go it alone. Even if you aren't signed up to our full course, you can ask us anything regarding the MCS on our MCS forum, here:

So, as a Management student, what experience have you had of the CIMA exams during 2017? We'd love to hear from you - if you have anything to share, please send us an email or get in touch via social media!
