However far away the November exam may seem, you will be surprised how quickly it will come round. In my experience, making a plan early will really help you pass your exam!
One question that I'm regularly asked is "When should I start my case study revision?". My response every time is 6 to 8 weeks before the exam, aiming for at least 10 hours of revision per week. Time and effort are key ingredients to success.
One of the best ways of preparing early for your case study exam is to ensure that you know the theory inside out. In a recent survey of August 2016 exam students, 50% of OCS students and 60% of MCS students said they would have spent MORE time on revision of theory.
Our SCS students appear to have learnt their lesson, as over 83% of students started their preparation more than 5 weeks before the exam week, instead highlighting other elements such as time management and answer planning as things they would have spent more time on rather than revision of the theory.
